Orkut Google Typo ‘affortable CPM’
I am regular Orkut user and member of OUG community where today I found information about this typo by Google. You can see image below.
I never heard the word Affortable before, may be it is new creation by Google.
You can find this at http://www.orkut.co.in/html/advertise/IN/large.html, if you can’t fine it then don’t blame me, may be its fixed by Google.
Google PageRank Update April 2009 – Q2 2009 PR Update
Google did it again but little late. It was supposed to be in end of march. This is not done yet as different datacenters showing different results for PR. It started yesterday and still in progress. My sites are going up and down.
Some PR checker showing I am good PR but some showing negative. I can’t post my stats this time as I am not sure. I can’t see any big changes in Google Algorithm this time with PR. It is same as last update.
Google also updated Toolbar PR, It was updated last time at starting of this year.
As soon this update wil finish I will check my sites again and post progress of my sites here.
How Much Money You are Going to Earn on Indian Premier League – IPL 2009
If you are and Indian or your sites are based on Indian traffic then I don’t think you are going to miss golden chance. I am not holding any contest for IPL. This is you can earn form your site by just adding some information news about IPL.
Cricket is most popular sports in India ( I think this is only popular sports in India) and people are bored with 50 overs long cricket matches, now 20-20 over matches are everyone’s favorites. I am not a big SEO expert but from the last year Google search result I can predict that this year searched related to IPL will increase. Last year in IPL season everyone was searching for IPL matches, news, team information etc.
Orkut, most popular social networking site in Inida, is also preparing to earn money from IPL this year, I have no idea what they are going to do but as of now all youngster use Orkut so it is good time for Google to earn money from it.
I am making a site Related to Indian Premier League to earn some extra money this summer. I am planning to it advertise at orkut, youtube and other social sites so I can get more and more visitors.
If you don’t have any work then you can start a blog just to give updates of IPL, do little link building and your blog will be in SEs. Use Google Trends to check what you should write so you can get more traffic. Try to use Adsense, affiliates won’t do anything here as people just want to know about cricket. Use simple template where is it easy to get what they are looking for. Add a leader board ad on top to get some extra click and higher CTR, near top navigation menu add Adsense link ads, add rectangle under post title.. My all sites related to India get better CTR, so I am not going to miss this IPL.
Webmaster Zone is now PR0
I just checked that My blog in now PR0. I don’t know the reason. Whatever the reason is, I don’t think it make any sense. I am getting traffic form SEs and my ranking is still same and I was not selling or doing anything fomr that PR.
I wil try to get my PR back if possible but still no idea how to do that.
