As far as I remember I used to write comments at guest book some years ago. But now its hard to find guest books because there is no need of it. Now we don’t rely on static site that requires programming knowledge to manage them.

Its Web 2.0 and blog is one of main part of it. It allows us to set up site easily and fast. And we can make posts to show the world what we want. Visitors read post and reply to them and they are called blog comments. As there are always two sides on a coin. Some people started to use it unethical way to promote ( spam) their blog.

Why you should not leave spam comments.

First of all if you doing this means the admin of blog can record your IP. If you use proxy then they will get your site address.  Once you spam you are branded as spammer for life and your business is part of you also get problems.

Also it is very unprofessional for professional webmasters, there are lot of other ways to promote your site/services.

The best way is to leave comment on blog that using same niche as you. I you are webmaster and leaving a comment on other webmasters blog then no one will get problem.

Know What are you saying

Before leaving a comment make your you read the post and know what are you replying. Your work here is to attract more people to your site. So better to give a comment that really worth to be there.

Do not be rude

Always have a sense of humor. We are democratic, people have right to say what they want. Don’t find with abusive language, try to fight with Logic.

Check replies to your blogs

To get more comment on blogs regularly check for replies on blogs. This is very good way to build network and buzz.
