DDBoard Sucks – The Worst Forum Ever
It was the first webmaster forum that i joined 1 year ago. Yes, I am webmaster from one year. That time I love that forum but after some month admin (Weblord) gone mad. I can to know that he is the wrost admin
in this world because he start banning all active members. First of all he banned my best friend (don of the world), reason was not really good. He completed an incentive that Weblord gave him but Weblord forget to gave him point for his work, so he just ask for points and get banned.
Then my other friends ( murad12s) who currently blogging at Online Earns he was banned for having more then one account. That time he has no PC, he used to go to cyber cafe to use DDBoard. But he banned him and he lost all his points.
Then it was my turn I just sent message to Weblord that Murad12s is not spammer, please unban him, but he banned me. That time i was one of the most active member of this forum.
qprejects was selling RapidShare account to a member so Weblord banned him. Weblord don’t know what is RS premium point. I newbie knows what is this but that person is fool.
The Geek was banned for ‘ using anonymizer, private whois’. He didn’t use anonymizer and I am still trying to understand what he mean my private who is.
One person, I don’t remember his username, banned because he told Weblord that ‘NameDrive’ Banned at right top is making site slow. He banned his because he want his site to be slow.

Some months ago that fool banned most of IP ranges of India. I still don’t know why karl (owner of ddboard) is doing. He should suspend weblord and a better manager. He spend most of money to register domain for himself and when people make lot of domain request then he ban most of them so he can take most of money in his pocket.

There were two users (that i know) that were banned for that.
One was Collin1000 and other was Calum (a good friend of mine).

Just browse that forum, they ve got an alexa of 80,000+, why attend that kind of forum? A number of excellent wbmaster forums via the Web, many many forums better than that,
I actually can’t say anything bad about ddBoard becasue webloard was really nice and renewed my domain, even if i sent him a lot of pms..
Of course it’s sad that calum got banned..
Calum banned for giving weblord a suggestion. Calum is better administrator then weblord.

The other buy you don’t know the name of, that is me. I am so happy I got banned because now I earn over $2000 per month on other forums like dp, my username is “calum” there I have over 65 itraders.
Even Armaan is happy that he got banned from there.
Well people , i dont have anything for or against ddboard , but the fact that ddboard had a good beginning says it all. Such forums as ddboard do much good for people either too young to buy their own domains or live in such countries which well you know the story. Different people have different perspectives some say he is good some say he is bad.
In my opinion , weblord is not a bad administrator but the fact that he runs like 30-40 websites simultaneously is the problem. He has soo many websites to run that i think he doesn’t have much time to consider who is spamming or not . So in a nutshell , weblord should get some new staff for ddboard which handles the banning , unbanning etc.

We have different opinions based on our experiences in ddboard. I am almost 1 1/2 years ddboard member and I didn’t banned or get any warning from him. Just follow the rules.
I am glad that I’ve found ddboard cause It make my domain for real and free. I truly appreciate and love it.
In fact, I admired his effort gave in ddboard despite of many sites that he manage. Ddboard never disappoint me and I always have their great service. They made me an exciting feeling instead.
That’s all IMHO.
Maybe ddboard is bad for someone but good for others like me.

i dont know how to contact admin and resolve it.

Flipboyz, just for the record, he also banned me 2 months ago and the reason he gave was because he said that my account was a clone of yours(which is of course not true), LOL!!!

Well , I don’t know about you but I got about 5 .com domains for free there . That’s simply awesome and I don’t think there’s any other board in the world that offers that .
Lately I’m not speding a lot of time there (It’s been 2 months since I last visited the forum) but I still get domains .
So I won’t say no to free domains because some users got banned .
I cant stand Weblord.
I actually opened up my *OWN* free domain name site after he banned me, ran the site for over a year, and then sold it. And it was 100 times fairer than ddBoard.
I also want to add: Yes, me and Calum were both banned for the statement about the ads. The thing I found funniest was he banned me while I was on a 1 week camping trip. So I dont even know what I did wrong.
Oh well. His loss.

I joined ddboard on july 2005. I am one of the oldest member there and I have no problem or complain about weblord. IMHO, He is a fair person. Every forum has its own rules. Ddboard is bit more strict on its rules. Most of us dont bother to read the rules that lead to ban or warnings. In the beginning I received two warning points breaking rules, which eventually expired after some time.
Bottom line:-
Like Queenz, Sakura, ACE, Fangweile I am a happy ddboard member. §:)

Yes it is true that weblord bans you without reason. DD BOARD IS A SCAM, believe me.
And just one thing… There are no active members on his board!!! So it is obvious that something is wrong there!

Taking a break from programming/development for a week or two; i was just reading blogs/forum posts & decided to take a look at ddboard today. (prolly for the first time in 2009)…
It’s GONE for good.
It was in the best interest of Karl (the owner) to sell it.
I hate ddboard. It did not even told the members that it would be gone. I’m less sad because i never did any activity there for this year 2009. But I still wish I never registered an account there.

Since it was pushed to your DomainRightNow account, by weblord. You are authorized owner of that domain name. From onwards you will only be able to renew your domain name by a credit card or verified paypal account.
I got banned too for no reason. I was also a very active member at the time of my banning. Now they are closed for good.
